2 tbsps live yogurt
Lrg pinch of cinnamon
Cut the apples and pears into small chunks, discarding the cores. It is your choice whether to remove the skins, I personally like to keep them on so there is as much goodness kept as possible. Also if you desire; keep a couple of slices back as a garnish.
Now it is simple; put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until nice and smooth, giving the blender a good shake half way through to ensure all the lumps have been caught.
Pour into two glasses and drink immediately.
Whether as a morning staple or just a treat every now and again; smoothies are a great way to get a large dose of your five a day in one sitting.
Tastes better than multi-vitamins
There has seemed to have been a bit of a smoothie craze in the past few years. Mostly being pushed by the manufactures of the fancy new blenders. However, the fact that people are eating more raw fruit and vegetables in their diets is something that should be discouraged.
